It's not just that the VRV app on Roku is shit it's whomever is operating VRV is also shit from support to development. The ongoing reports that the VRV app does not work properly on Roku TVs goes back at least 2 years, they have done nothing at all too address it, and now VRV support will not even bother responding to support requests about it. VRV will play anything from any channel -- except for Crunchyroll on my Roku player. Once I try to play a Crunchyroll anime, the player freezes, then reboots. Unfortunately, the only method that has worked for me is deleting and reinstalling the app. Thankfully, this issue has all but disappeared so I don't have to do this EVERY time I want to open VRV - only to have the problem replaced with the Roku doing a hard reboot nearly every time I try to stream a video.
